Pick up a community exploration card at any Salt Lake CITY library. They are good for 4 people to Red Butte Garden, The Leonardo, Museum of Natural History and the Gateway Museum for the entire month. You can only get one every 12 months.  Go Early!  They only give out 8 cards per library per month.

West Jordan Police and Fire Department will be there and have a fire truck and ambulance for kids to explore. You can sign up for the Summer Reading program at the party.  Families are invited to bring blankets and a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park.

7:00am Five mile Pioneer Trek Walk beginning at Donner Park (2770 East and 990 South) and ending at First Encampment Park (1700 South and 500 East).  Children are allowed to ride in wagons or strollers but no bikes, skateboards or scooters (unless needed for a disability).  Bring an american flag and/or dress in pioneer clothing.  Tours of the newly restored Wilford Woodruff home will be given near the end of the hike (1604 S. 500 E)  Authentic Pioneer breakfast of buckwheat and bacon will be served at the farmhouse for $3 a plate.
